CRM Push Guide for Customers

CRM Push is a new way for users to export data to their CRM. When viewing an event details page, users can export enriched attendee data directly into a Segment (HubSpot) or Campaign (Salesforce).

HubSpot Segments and Salesforce Campaigns are called ‘Campaigns’ on the Vendelux platform. These are not the same as the Meetings campaigns.

How Does It Work?

CRM Pull and CRM Push work in tandem to create a record for the attendee and associate the attendee with the Segment/Campaign in your CRM. Attendees are created as a Contact (HubSpot) or Lead (Salesforce) in your CRM and then associated with your Segment/Campaign. If an attendee already exists in your CRM, they will not be created and will only be associated with the Segment/Campaign.

How to Enable CRM Push

First, you must connect your CRM with Vendelux. Go to your Settings page, read the CRM Integration Guide, and then sync your CRM with our platform.

If your account plan includes CRM Push (Plus and Enterprise plans), you will be able to turn CRM Push on within your Settings page. If you don’t see the ‘CRM Push enabled’ toggle, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM). If you are on the Pro plan and interested in CRM Push, please contact your CSM for support!

To enable CRM Push, Super Admins for your team navigate to Settings Page > CRM Integration section and toggle on ‘CRM Push Enabled’:

To further control who can or cannot export attendee to the CRM, on the Settings page, the Super Admin can toggle who can spend credits. If a user can spend credits, then they can export to CRM.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost?

It costs 1 credit per enriched attendee. If the attendee was already enriched, either by exporting to CSV or by exporting to CRM, you are only charged once.

What kind of data is exported to my CRM?

The attendee’s first name, last name, title, email address (if present), LinkedIn URL, company name.

For HubSpot, if the attendee’s company exists in your CRM and the attendee does not, when the Contact is created in your CRM, it will be associated with the company.

How can I determine my ROI?

In HubSpot, this is very simple!

When creating a new Report,

  1. Select Custom Report > Select Deals and Contacts > click Next.
  2. For the x-axis, select ‘Record Source Detail 1’.
  3. For the y-axis, use any Deals KPI that your team uses.
  4. Then click on ‘Configure’.
  5. Now add a filter for ‘Record Source Detail 1’ so that you’re filtering for ‘vendelux hubspot integration app’.

Example: How many contacts has Vendelux added to my CRM?

This example was generated using demo data, so no deals are associated with the contacts, so my y-axis (KPI) is the number of contacts. Based on the report preview, we can see that the demo account has 1.8k contacts created via Vendelux’s CRM Push.
